The washing-strung lanes of the Spanish Quarter, Spaccanapoli and the crib-makers' street of San Gregorio Armeno, the Lungomare Caracciolo with Castel dell'Ovo and Vesuvius behind it, the sweep of Piazza del Plebiscito, the glass dome of the Galleria Umberto I, and the Parco Virgiliano at Posillipo for the whole bay at sunset.
