I’m Gianmarco Vetrano, a Sicily-based photographer specialising in elegant, natural and editorial photography experiences for couples, families, solo travellers and proposals throughout Sicily and Italy. Whether you’re celebrating a honeymoon, exploring Italy together, planning a surprise proposal, travelling with your family or simply want beautiful photographs of your time here, I create images that capture both the people and the atmosphere of the place. My approach combines documentary observation with a contemporary editorial and fashion-inspired aesthetic. I keep the experience relaxed and natural, guiding you when needed while leaving space for genuine moments to happen. The result is a collection of photographs that feels authentic, sophisticated and connected to your experience. Sicily is at the heart of my work, but I photograph throughout Italy and in some of the country’s most iconic destinations. From Taormina, Noto, Scopello and Palermo to Lake Como, Venice and the Amalfi Coast, I love using the character of each location as an integral part of the story. I also specialise in destination weddings and intimate elopements for couples looking for a more complete photographic experience. My work has been published internationally, including The Lane, ELLE, Together Journal and La Lista. I have also been a member of ANFM, the Italian Association of Wedding Photographers, since 2010. My goal is simple: to make photography feel like part of your journey, while creating photographs you will genuinely want to keep.

As a couple who does not like taking photos and gets nervous in front of cameras, we looked for a photographer that did amazing candids. When we found Gianmarco’s work, we knew we would be in good hands, but Gianmarco managed to massively exceed our expectations. Gianmarco was an absolute pleasure to work with from start to finish. Before shooting, he was very helpful and patient with us in understanding exactly what sort of shots we were interested.
