I’m Gianmarco Vetrano, a Sicily-based photographer specialising in elegant, natural and editorial photography experiences for couples, families, solo travellers and proposals throughout Sicily and Italy. Whether you’re celebrating a honeymoon, exploring Italy together, planning a surprise proposal, travelling with your family or simply want beautiful photographs of your time here, I create images that capture both the people and the atmosphere of the place. My approach combines documentary observation with a contemporary editorial and fashion-inspired aesthetic. I keep the experience relaxed and natural, guiding you when needed while leaving space for genuine moments to happen. The result is a collection of photographs that feels authentic, sophisticated and connected to your experience. Sicily is at the heart of my work, but I photograph throughout Italy and in some of the country’s most iconic destinations. From Taormina, Noto, Scopello and Palermo to Lake Como, Venice and the Amalfi Coast, I love using the character of each location as an integral part of the story. I also specialise in destination weddings and intimate elopements for couples looking for a more complete photographic experience. My work has been published internationally, including The Lane, ELLE, Together Journal and La Lista. I have also been a member of ANFM, the Italian Association of Wedding Photographers, since 2010. My goal is simple: to make photography feel like part of your journey, while creating photographs you will genuinely want to keep.
Gianmarco is truly so talented and did such an exquisite job photographing our wedding day! We are so thankful for the beautiful moments he captured for us, his attention to detail, professionalism, skill and creativity. He worked so well with our videographer and together they provided us with breathtaking photos and videos that we will treasure forever. Thank you again, Gianmarco!
We are in love with our photos from Gianmarco! He was such an honor to work with and an even bigger honor to have been captured by! Gianmarco made the whole day feel effortless by helping to curate effortless portraits and by capturing all of our candid moments of our wedding day- I was able to just live the day without a second thought and now can continue to relive the day through his amazing work! He captured all of the gorgeous colors of Sicily, all of the amazing and priceless moments of having our whole family together, and capturing all of the love and joy I felt on my wedding day. He has an amazing eye for capturing and curating each shot and a beautiful vision in editing them all into a masterpiece. He was amazing to work with and blended right into our small and intimate day. I am so thankful to have been introduced to Gianmarco and could not love my photos more!!

As a couple who does not like taking photos and gets nervous in front of cameras, we looked for a photographer that did amazing candids. When we found Gianmarco’s work, we knew we would be in good hands, but Gianmarco managed to massively exceed our expectations. He made us feel so comfortable on the day and we were completely blown away by our photos! If you are looking for a photographer, you honestly can’t go wrong with Gianmarco, he really captured the whole day so well and was absolute pleasure to work with!

Gianmarco was an absolute pleasure to work with from start to finish. Before shooting, he was very helpful and patient with us in understanding exactly what sort of shots we were interested. On the day of the wedding, he was a star! He made us feel like super models and captured us from every angle. The pictures have come out perfectly! It has been a great pleasure and joy working with Gianmarco.
