Before the day boats arrive from Naples and Sorrento, which is roughly the first two hours after the island wakes. The funicular climbs from Marina Grande to the Piazzetta in three minutes and queues badly between ten and four; open taxis and the Anacapri bus cover the rest, and everything else is walked. Boats round the Faraglioni leave from both marinas and take about an hour, which is the only way to get the rock arch in frame. Check timetables, as both run reduced services in winter.

The golden rule is to coordinate without matching — choose complementary colors and classic styles that reflect your personality. Solid colors and muted tones (navy, cream, sage, terracotta) photograph beautifully against Italy's warm-toned architecture and lush green landscapes. Avoid busy patterns, large logos, or neon colors that can distract from you as a couple. Comfortable shoes are essential, especially in Rome and Florence where cobblestone streets and hillside viewpoints are common.
