La domanda non è "dove è più bello"
È tutta bella, e questo non aiuta a scegliere. Le domande utili sono altre: che paesaggio volete nelle foto tra vent'anni, in che stagione viaggiate, e quanta logistica siete disposti a sopportare in un giorno che avete scelto proprio per non averne.

I sette scenari
1. Val d'Orcia, Toscana. Colline, cipressi, una cappella su un crinale. È il paesaggio che il mondo intende quando dice "Italia", e all'alba con la nebbia nelle valli non somiglia a nient'altro. Meglio maggio (verde e papaveri) o fine settembre (oro). Le promesse in una tenuta tra le vigne risolvono anche il ricevimento: si cena dove ci si è sposati.
2. Costiera Amalfitana. Le terrazze di Ravello a strapiombo, i vicoli verticali di Positano. Le foto hanno il mare dentro a ogni inquadratura. Il prezzo è la logistica: strade strette, transfer lenti, luglio e agosto affollati. Aprile-giugno e settembre-ottobre sono la finestra giusta.
3. Lago di Como. Ville, giardini a lago, montagne nell'acqua. È lo scenario più "cinematografico" e il più fotografato in barca: le promesse su un motoscafo di legno sono un classico che funziona davvero. Ottimo da maggio a ottobre.
4. Roma. L'elopement urbano: un cortile storico, una terrazza, il Centro all'alba per i ritratti. Funziona tutto l'anno — dicembre compreso — e non richiede transfer: si fa tutto a piedi. La scelta di chi vuole la città eterna e zero complicazioni.
5. Sicilia — Taormina e Siracusa. Il teatro greco con l'Etna dietro, il barocco color miele di Ortigia sul mare. Stagione lunghissima: a novembre si sta in maniche corte. È il sud più scenografico, con i voli in più che comporta.
6. Puglia — Alberobello e la campagna. Trulli bianchi, masserie, ulivi secolari. Lo scenario più rustico ed economico della lista, perfetto per chi vuole un elopement contadino-chic con cena in masseria.
7. Dolomiti. Per chi vuole le foto che nessun altro ha: prati alti, pareti rosa al tramonto (l'enrosadira), laghi verdi. Stagione corta — da metà giugno a settembre — e serve camminare. Le promesse a 2.000 metri non si dimenticano.
Simbolico o legale?
La cerimonia simbolica si fa ovunque, senza permessi nella maggior parte dei luoghi pubblici. Quella legale passa dall'Ufficio di Stato Civile, con documenti tradotti e 2-4 settimane di pratica — e per gli stranieri conviene un wedding planner locale che la gestisca. Molte coppie fanno il legale a casa e le promesse in Italia: nessuno, nelle foto, vede la differenza.

We couldn't recommend Georgiana more as a wedding photographer! From our very first meeting, we knew she would be an absolute dream to work with. She took the time to meet us at our venue months before the wedding — even late in the evening when that was the only time we were available! She was so attentive and we instantly loved her laid-back, friendly approach. Our wedding included multiple ceremonies, including a traditional Asian ceremony, and it meant so much that Georgiana took the time to learn about each stage so she could capture all the important moments perfectly. On the wedding day itself, she was such a calming presence. When I was running behind getting into my dress, she even stepped in to help! I had a rather ambitious goal of taking group photos with all of our guests during cocktail hour, and she took on the challenge with such enthusiasm. She made us feel so comfortable during our couple shoot, and all our guests commented on how organized and on-the-ball she was throughout the day. The photos turned out absolutely stunning — we were blown away by how many special moments she managed to capture. We decided not to hire a videographer, which I initially regretted on the day, but thanks to Georgiana's beautiful work, we were able to create a slideshow that truly tells the story of our wedding. It's a keepsake we'll treasure forever. Georgiana is not only a talented photographer, but also a genuinely kind and wonderful person to have by your side on your wedding day. What can you say about this group of professionals? They go beyond simply being professionals. They put love and all of their character into every shot. They understood absolutely everything about us straight away. Watching them shoot and be moved by it tells you exactly what I mean.
