Siena ist die mittelalterliche Antwort: Backstein statt Marmor, die muschelförmige Piazza del Campo, Gassen, die sich um den Dom winden. Siena wirkt auf Bildern wärmer und rauer als Florenz – wer die gotische Kulisse will und weniger Publikum, wählt Siena.

Der First Look – das erste Sehen vor der Zeremonie, nur zu zweit mit dem Fotografen – ist in der Toskana doppelt wertvoll: Er holt das emotionalste Bild des Tages aus dem Zeitdruck heraus und macht den Nachmittag frei für Gäste statt für Porträtlisten. Die goldene Stunde ist nicht verhandelbar: 25 Minuten, in denen das Paar mit dem Fotografen in die Hügel oder auf die Terrasse verschwindet, während der Aperitivo läuft – aus diesen 25 Minuten stammen fast immer die Bilder, die später an der Wand hängen.

We couldn't recommend Georgiana more as a wedding photographer! From our very first meeting, we knew she would be an absolute dream to work with. She took the time to meet us at our venue months before the wedding — even late in the evening when that was the only time we were available!
