L'inquiétude la plus fréquente avant une séance en couple ne concerne ni les lieux ni la lumière — c'est « nous ne savons pas quoi faire devant un appareil photo ». La réponse honnête : vous n'avez pas besoin de le savoir. Une bonne séance en couple n'est pas une suite de poses. C'est une promenade, dirigée par quelqu'un qui sait où vous placer et quoi vous demander — et les photos naissent en chemin.

Minute par minute
0–10 : les minutes raides. Elles sont raides pour tout le monde, à chaque fois. Votre photographe le sait et les consacre aux choses faciles : marcher main dans la main, discuter, regarder la vue. Ces premières images sont rarement les meilleures — leur rôle est de vous faire oublier l'objectif.
10–25 : le mouvement. Vous marchez vers l'appareil, l'un fait tourner l'autre, quelqu'un dit une bêtise et le rire est vrai. Les consignes sont simples et physiques — « appuyez-vous sur son épaule », « regardez-la marcher devant » — jamais « soyez naturels », qui est l'instruction la moins naturelle du monde.
25–45 : le meilleur endroit, dans la meilleure lumière. Vous êtes maintenant à l'aise, et le photographe vous emmène au point autour duquel tout l'itinéraire a été construit — le belvédère, la ruelle, le bord du fleuve — à l'heure où la lumière le mérite. C'est de là que viennent les photos qu'on imprime en grand.
45–60 : détails et jeu. Les mains, les alliances, un tour de danse esquissé, une glace achetée en chemin. Les dernières photos sont les plus détendues, et souvent les préférées.
Ce qui décide du résultat (et ce n'est pas votre photogénie)
- L'heure. L'heure dorée — après le lever ou avant le coucher du soleil — pardonne tout ; un midi d'été ne pardonne rien. Si votre photographe propose 6 h 30, il y a une raison.
- Les chaussures. Pavés, montées, escaliers : marchez confortablement, changez-vous pour l'image.
- Deux tenues maximum. Une habillée, une décontractée. Chaque changement mange des minutes de lumière.
- Dites-le s'il y a un angle que vous détestez. Un photographe peut contourner n'importe quel complexe — mais seulement s'il le connaît.

We couldn't recommend Georgiana more as a wedding photographer! From our very first meeting, we knew she would be an absolute dream to work with. She took the time to meet us at our venue months before the wedding — even late in the evening when that was the only time we were available! What can you say about this group of professionals? They go beyond simply being professionals. They put love and all of their character into every shot.
