Pour une séance voyage — couple, famille, portrait solo — 2 à 4 semaines à l'avance est confortable en haute saison et généreux le reste de l'année. Pour un mariage un samedi entre mai et octobre, comptez en mois : six à douze. Entre les deux se trouvent les cas particuliers : demandes en mariage à date symbolique, un lever de soleil à la mi-août, la Saint-Sylvestre.

Pourquoi le délai n'est pas constant
Le calendrier d'un photographe italien est comprimé des deux côtés : le tourisme (mai–septembre, avec des pics en juin et septembre) et les mariages (mêmes mois, samedis avant tout). Un samedi de juin, un photographe qui fait les deux est disputé trois fois ; un mardi de novembre, il est à vous avec trois jours de préavis.

Les trois cas où réserver tôt compte vraiment
1. Une date qui ne peut pas bouger. La Saint-Valentin, l'anniversaire exact, un anniversaire marquant. Quand la date est le sujet, « décalons d'un jour » n'est pas une option — réservez dès que les vols le sont.
2. Un photographe précis. Si vous avez eu un coup de cœur pour un portfolio — ce noir et blanc, cette manière avec les enfants — c'est son agenda qui commande. Les profils demandés ferment leurs week-ends d'été des mois à l'avance.
3. Le lever du soleil aux monuments. Les séances à l'aube à Rome ou à Venise sont le créneau le plus demandé de l'été, parce qu'elles sont la seule façon d'avoir les monuments vides. Les bons créneaux de week-end partent en premier.

We couldn't recommend Georgiana more as a wedding photographer! From our very first meeting, we knew she would be an absolute dream to work with. She took the time to meet us at our venue months before the wedding — even late in the evening when that was the only time we were available! She was so attentive and we instantly loved her laid-back, friendly approach. Our wedding included multiple ceremonies, including a traditional Asian ceremony, and it meant so much that Georgiana took the time to learn about each stage so she could capture all the important moments perfectly. On the wedding day itself, she was such a calming presence. When I was running behind getting into my dress, she even stepped in to help! I had a rather ambitious goal of taking group photos with all of our guests during cocktail hour, and she took on the challenge with such enthusiasm. What can you say about this group of professionals? They go beyond simply being professionals. They put love and all of their character into every shot. They understood absolutely everything about us straight away. Watching them shoot and be moved by it tells you exactly what I mean. Et à la dernière minute ?
Cela fonctionne plus souvent qu'on ne le pense, surtout dans les grandes villes au vivier de photographes profond : une annulation, un trou en semaine, et la séance de demain se trouve ce soir. Les filtres par date montrent la disponibilité réelle — si le calendrier dit oui, c'est oui. Ce que la dernière minute ne peut pas acheter : le choix le plus large, l'heure parfaite et une marge météo (avec deux jours de battement, il n'y a rien vers quoi reporter).
Le prix de l'attente n'est (presque) jamais le prix
Les tarifs des séances voyage en Italie ne bougent pas avec la demande comme les billets d'avion : réserver tard coûte rarement plus cher en euros. Cela coûte en choix — le créneau de l'aube pris, le photographe que vous vouliez occupé, le week-end complet.
