Casi ningún desastre fotográfico de boda empieza con un mal fotógrafo: empieza con un acuerdo vago. Las doce preguntas de abajo convierten un presupuesto genérico en un contrato que sabéis leer — y la reacción del fotógrafo al ser preguntado ya es media respuesta.

Sobre el día
1. ¿Cuántas horas de cobertura real? "Día completo" puede significar ocho horas o dieciséis. Contad hacia atrás: preparativos (90 minutos antes de salir), ceremonia, aperitivo, cena, primer baile. Si os salen diez y el paquete cubre ocho, preguntad ahora la tarifa de hora extra — no a las 22:30 del día B.
2. ¿Quién dispara exactamente? En los estudios grandes, el nombre de la web no siempre es quien se presenta. Que el contrato lleve el nombre del fotógrafo, y pedid ver una boda ENTERA hecha por esa persona — no la selección estelar del estudio.
3. Segundo fotógrafo: ¿incluido o no? Por encima de 80 invitados cambia la historia que os llevaréis: ambos preparativos, las reacciones de los invitados durante la ceremonia, otros ángulos del baile. Suele sumar un 20–30% y vale cada euro a partir de cierta escala.
4. ¿Qué pasa si el fotógrafo enferma? La respuesta correcta nombra una red de sustitutos y cómo se elige el reemplazo. "Nunca ha pasado" no es una respuesta.

5. ¿El desplazamiento está incluido? La regla habitual en Italia: incluido en un radio de 50–80 km, después tarifa por kilómetro y, para distancias de verdad, una noche de alojamiento. Una boda en la Costa Amalfitana con fotógrafo de Roma casi siempre lleva línea de viaje: mejor verla escrita.
6. Señal y resto: ¿cuándo y cuánto? Estándar italiano: 20–30% a la firma, resto antes del día de la boda o a la entrega. Desconfiad de quien lo quiere todo por adelantado.
7. ¿Qué pasa si cancelamos o movemos la fecha? Buscad tres escenarios en el contrato: canceláis vosotros, movéis la fecha (¿está libre el fotógrafo? ¿migra la señal?), cancela el fotógrafo.

8. ¿Cuántas fotos y en cuánto tiempo? Una boda de día completo produce típicamente 400–800 imágenes entregadas. Plazos honestos en temporada alta: 4–8 semanas para la galería completa, con un avance de 30–50 fotos en pocos días. "En cuanto pueda" no es una fecha.
9. ¿Se editan todas las fotos o solo algunas? La entrega estándar es corrección de color y exposición en todo, con retoque profundo en una selección. Preguntad qué significa "editada" para ese fotógrafo, con ejemplos.
10. ¿Qué derechos tenemos? En Italia los derechos de autor son del fotógrafo; lo que necesitáis por escrito es uso personal ilimitado: imprimir, compartir, guardar. Si no queréis aparecer en su porfolio o en redes, la privacidad debe constar — muchos la ofrecen, pocos la proponen solos.

We couldn't recommend Georgiana more as a wedding photographer! From our very first meeting, we knew she would be an absolute dream to work with. She took the time to meet us at our venue months before the wedding — even late in the evening when that was the only time we were available! She was so attentive and we instantly loved her laid-back, friendly approach. Our wedding included multiple ceremonies, including a traditional Asian ceremony, and it meant so much that Georgiana took the time to learn about each stage so she could capture all the important moments perfectly. On the wedding day itself, she was such a calming presence. When I was running behind getting into my dress, she even stepped in to help! I had a rather ambitious goal of taking group photos with all of our guests during cocktail hour, and she took on the challenge with such enthusiasm. What can you say about this group of professionals? They go beyond simply being professionals. They put love and all of their character into every shot. 12. ¿Cómo trabajas durante la ceremonia? En las iglesias muchos párrocos limitan movimiento y flash; en los ayuntamientos las normas cambian de sala en sala. Un profesional lo sabe y lo menciona sin que se lo pidan — y si no, preguntadlo vosotros.
El orden correcto
Para bodas de mayo a octubre, los mejores fotógrafos se reservan con 6–12 meses de antelación; la página de fotografía de boda y los porfolios verificados son el punto de partida. Y si la boda es pequeña — veinte invitados y una terraza — lo que necesitáis se parece más a un elopement que a una producción: cobertura más corta, el mismo rigor en las preguntas.
