Für ein Reiseshooting – Paare, Familie, Einzelporträts – sind 2–4 Wochen Vorlauf in der Hochsaison komfortabel und den Rest des Jahres großzügig. Für eine Samstagshochzeit zwischen Mai und Oktober denken Sie in Monaten: sechs bis zwölf. Dazwischen liegen die Sonderfälle: Heiratsanträge an symbolischen Daten, ein Sonnenaufgang Mitte August, Silvester.

Warum der Vorlauf nicht konstant ist
Der Kalender eines italienischen Fotografen wird von zwei Seiten gequetscht: Tourismus (Mai–September, mit Spitzen im Juni und September) und Hochzeiten (dieselben Monate, vor allem Samstage). An einem Juni-Samstag ist ein Fotograf, der beides macht, dreifach umkämpft; an einem November-Dienstag gehört er Ihnen mit drei Tagen Vorlauf.

Die drei Fälle, in denen frühes Buchen wirklich zählt
1. Ein Datum, das sich nicht verschieben lässt. Valentinstag, der genaue Jahrestag, ein runder Geburtstag. Wenn das Datum der Punkt ist, ist „verschieben wir um einen Tag“ keine Option – buchen Sie, sobald die Flüge stehen.
2. Ein bestimmter Fotograf. Wenn Sie sich in ein Portfolio verliebt haben – dieses Schwarz-Weiß, dieser Umgang mit Kindern – regiert dessen Terminkalender. Gefragte Profile schließen die Sommerwochenenden Monate im Voraus.
3. Sonnenaufgang an den Ikonen. Shootings im Morgengrauen in Rom oder Venedig sind der gefragteste Slot des Sommers, weil sie der einzige Weg sind, die Monumente leer zu bekommen. Die guten Wochenendfenster gehen zuerst weg.

We couldn't recommend Georgiana more as a wedding photographer! From our very first meeting, we knew she would be an absolute dream to work with. She took the time to meet us at our venue months before the wedding — even late in the evening when that was the only time we were available! She was so attentive and we instantly loved her laid-back, friendly approach. Our wedding included multiple ceremonies, including a traditional Asian ceremony, and it meant so much that Georgiana took the time to learn about each stage so she could capture all the important moments perfectly. Was last minute nicht kaufen kann: die größte Auswahl, die perfekte Stunde und einen Wetterpuffer (mit zwei Tagen Spielraum gibt es nichts, worauf man ausweichen könnte).

Italienische Preislisten für Reiseshootings bewegen sich nicht mit der Nachfrage wie Flugpreise: Spät zu buchen kostet selten mehr in Euro.
