Ein Familien-Fotoshooting in Rom scheitert aus genau einem Grund: an einer Route für Erwachsene. Anstiege, Warteschlangen, „Nicht anfassen“, ein Sonnenuntergangs-Slot, wenn die Müdigkeit ihren Höhepunkt erreicht. Der richtige Plan beginnt beim Alter Ihres Jüngsten und baut alles andere darum herum.

Die Orte, die funktionieren
Villa Borghese. Die sichere Wahl. Breite, ebene Kieswege (Kinderwagen: kein Thema), echter Pinienschatten am Mittag, der Bootssee und eine niedrige Mauer, auf die Kinder unaufgefordert klettern. Die besten Fotos entstehen, während sie spielen — der Fotograf beobachtet und reagiert, statt jemanden in Pose zu stellen. Ebenerdiger Zugang von der Porta Pinciana; die Rampe vom Pincio hinauf ist der szenische Anstieg für Familien ohne Kinderwagen.
Trastevere, früh. Ockerfarbene Gassen, Wäscheleinen und der Trick, der die Session rettet: ein Gelato (oder ein Maritozzo) als vereinbarter Stopp. Ein Kind auf dem Weg zu einer Gelateria ist auf Fotos ein glückliches Kind. Nach zehn kommen die Cafétische heraus und die Gassen werden eng — das Fenster ist 8:30–10:00.
Der Orangengarten. Klein, umschlossen, ruhig: Eltern entspannen sich, weil niemand auf eine Straße rennen kann, und der Belvedere liefert das Familienfoto mit Rom darunter. Kombinieren Sie ihn mit dem Rosengarten (Mai–Juni), zwei Minuten den Hügel hinunter.
Piazza del Popolo + der Pincio. Der Platz ist riesig und autofrei — Platz zum Rennen mit Monumenten dahinter —, und die Terrasse darüber liefert das Panorama ohne langen Fußweg.
Das Kolosseum — von außen, früh. Mit Kindern arbeiten Sie am Außenbereich: Via dei Fori Imperiali im Morgengrauen oder die Terrasse über dem Metro-Ausgang. Drinnen heißt Warteschlangen und Regeln; draußen heißt Größe und Freiheit.
Die richtige Stunde (es ist nicht der Sonnenuntergang)
Für Erwachsene ist die goldene Abendstunde König. Bei Kindern unter sechs gilt das Gegenteil: Am Morgen — 8:00 bis 10:30 — ist die Energie gut, das Licht noch weich, die Orte leer. Eine Session um 19 Uhr mit einem Dreijährigen ist eine Wette gegen den Schlaf, und der Schlaf gewinnt.

We couldn't recommend Georgiana more as a wedding photographer! From our very first meeting, we knew she would be an absolute dream to work with. She took the time to meet us at our venue months before the wedding — even late in the evening when that was the only time we were available!
